The Nintendo 3DS hasn’t received too much love from Nintendo lately in terms of games. The Xenoblade Chronicles port is the only game so far that’s exclusive to the “New” 3DS, which isn’t enough for me to upgrade on handhelds (plus I already have the original). There is still some to look forward to, especially the new Fire Emblem game (or Fire Emblem If). Here’s some I’m thinking about: Read the rest of this entry →

2015 is the year of video games. Nintendo doesn’t have a large list of games coming out, compared to Sony and Microsoft, but there are going to be some strong titles out there. This year is critical for the Wii U to try to restore consumer confidence and hopefully get third party support finally. I have hope that they’ll turn the system around. I don’t think Amiibos will do the trick, especially considering all the struggle and controversy about them. Anyways, here are most anticipated for the Wii U: Read the rest of this entry →

I thought about doing this based off of playing hours of the special demo (some people received special, early promotion codes from Nintendo via e-mail), but then I wouldn’t have been able to assess any of the beginning story or much of the gameplay (the demo only had three giant monsters to hunt down and no other quests). It took me awhile to get around to it, what with college and other things, but I just recently beat it. I first replayed the Sly Cooper Collection so I could compare them back to back. Sunker Punch chose the right guys to make Sly 4. Read the rest of this entry →

There are a fair number of games coming out February 13th. Also, don’t forget about the New 3DS XL.

I plan on getting Monster Hunter Ultimate 4, but later on I would like to buy Majora’s Mask 3D. As I said before, I don’t plan on upgrading to the New 3DS XL, at least not right away. I’m looking forward to fighting some monsters this weekend.

So how about you? Are you doing some shopping or waiting for other games to come out? 🙂

Review: Captain Toad Treasure Tracker

Captain Toad Treasure Tracker is a little surprize from Nintendo that no one expected or knew they wanted. It is a lot of fun with its adorable and puzzling charm. Captain Toad and his team embark on a star-gathering journey. Maybe they should replace Mario as the main stars of the show. 🙂 Read the rest of this entry →
