News On Fire Emblem (As of 5/7/18)

Published May 8, 2018 by Amanda B. Greene

Fire Emblem Switch is one of the highest anticipated games of this year (or at least for me anyways), but there are still sparse details on what the next installment will entail. However, it is still confirmed to release in 2018, according to multiple articles like US Gamer.

For Fire Emblem Warriors, there was an interview with the game director from Koei Tecmo saying that while they would like to do a sequel, it is not going to happen any time soon for multiple reasons. If you would like to read about it, click on the article by Destructoid.

Fire Emblem Heroes will be getting a big update starting tomorrow on May 8th, 2018. You can read Siliconera’s summary of the added or updated content right here.

That is all for now for current news on the franchise, but I hope that we will get more information soon on Fire Emblem Switch. June is coming up, so expect some E3 announcements in the next couple of weeks. Nintendo will be largely focused on Super Smash Bros., which is exciting. Thanks for reading!
