GameInformer has done recaps for the rest of the days: #2, #3, and #4. I have some catching up to do myself, but from what I’ve heard, Sony really nailed E3. The return of the long awaited Last Guardian really got people back on the hype train. Microsoft didn’t do bad either with their latest Gears Of War and Halo titles.
Nintendo has been getting a lot of criticism on multiple fronts, but there was still some redeeming qualities despite no-shows like The Legend Of Zelda (Wii U). Both Fire Emblem Fates and Xenoblade Chronicles X look incredible with their latest trailers. The Digital Event focused heavily on Mario, more specifically Mario Maker, due to his 30th Anniversary.
That’s all I have for now, and I’ll post again soon!
Thanks to GameInformer, for those who may have not been able to watch the presentations, they did a recap of everything covered yesterday. Click here to see their collection of articles. There was a lot of good stuff so far to kick off E3.
Of the many things that took stage, Virtual Reality was heavily focused on by everyone. Microsoft took a significant amount of time showing off Minecraft in 3D, for example. This kind of technology can truly succeed if it is accessible and affordable to the majority of gamers.
There is still more to come with Nintendo and others, so stay tuned!
It’s becoming to be that time of year again… E3!
Hopefully E3 will encourage gamers to stay excited for the rest of the year and into 2016 as many are getting disappointed over delays for big games like Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and The Legend Of Zelda. Game Informer is keeping track of when things are happening in June with their schedule; Nintendo and now Microsoft have recently announced their plans.
My friends and I are looking forward to more on Persona 5, Final Fantasy XV, FE X SMT, Fallout 4, Sly 5, and so on. For 2015, my most anticipated game is probably Xenoblade Chronicles X (as you can tell from all the articles). So much hype!
Which company are you most looking forward to watching? What are your hopes for E3? Please comment below! It’s going to be fun!
There is a lot that goes into making a console or handheld with all of its features and so on. You can look just purely into just the marketing and promotion and know there is so much going on inside and out.
Not to criticize or compare anyone, but Sony has probably the best when it comes to making sure that everyone is on board and is aware of the hardware with its Playstation 4; they have put effort into learning from their previous mistakes to create a bigger success. The other two major gaming companies, Microsoft and Nintendo, could learn a thing or two from Sony.
Let’s take a look at some of the “behind the scenes” action going on. Read the rest of this entry →
