Recently, I’ve bought myself the Traveler’s Shield Backpack and some other things from ThinkGeek because I’m a big fan of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I’d like to take some pictures soon of what I have so far  in my small collection for fun. GameInformer did a poll on what everyone’s favorite gaming merchandise is, which kind of inspired me to talk about the topic.

In this article, I’ll give you some of my own tips and advice on how to best start a collection if you are interested in having one of your own and how to grow it without throwing your wallet away. Let’s get started!

I don’t have a Nintendo Switch yet, but I’d like to get one eventually sometime next year. Some great games have already come out like Breath of the Wild (Still awesome on the Wii U!) and Super Mario Odyssey. Still, I need more than a handful of titles to truly win me over. In this article, I’ll list some of my wishes and ideas for the newest console.

The mobile game, Fire Emblem Heroes, has been gaining more popularity lately as more fans, new and old alike, are joining in as updates continue to come in. It has improved greatly since it first came out, so I thought it would be a perfect time to review it. Review(s): Fire Emblem Fates

Published December 22, 2016 by Amanda B. Greene

Fire Emblem Fates is the latest game in the Fire Emblem series that came out in February 2016 for the United States. It is a tactical, turn-based role-playing game. I meant to have my review done sooner, but it just took me awhile to beat the games. In Fire Emblem Fates, all three paths are fun to play and have something special going for each. I think my favorite out of the three is between Conquest and Revelations… sorry Hoshido. Anyways, Fire Emblem Fates is another great addition to the Fire Emblem series with its unique approach that is worth playing.

Why Kid Icarus Uprising Should Get A Sequel

The Kid Icarus series didn’t see the light of day for twenty years till Kid Icarus Uprising came out in 2012. Now it’s 2016 and Nintendo hasn’t done anything since besides including Dark Pit and Palutena as new playable characters in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS which released in 2014. While Kid Icarus Uprising wasn’t perfect, I think it’s one of the best 3DS games. Pit would be great to include in the initial lineup of titles for the “NX” when it arrives for many reasons.

Some Thoughts On Xenoblade Chronicles X…

Published May 24, 2016 by Amanda B. Greene

XenobladeChroniclesX

The last time I talked about Xenoblade Chronicles X for the Wii U, I gave it a review and you can read it right here. It wasn’t as great as I was hoping for it to be, but maybe that is partly due to having high expectations since I really enjoyed Xenoblade Chronicles. However, the game wasn’t terrible either. For me, XCX is in the odd middle ground of sorts overall. In this article, I’ll be talking more depth about what worked and didn’t.

There will be some spoilers here for both XCX and XC if you read more, you have been warned.
