GameInformer has done recaps for the rest of the days: #2, #3, and #4. I have some catching up to do myself, but from what I’ve heard, Sony really nailed E3. The return of the long awaited Last Guardian really got people back on the hype train. Microsoft didn’t do bad either with their latest Gears Of War and Halo titles.
Nintendo has been getting a lot of criticism on multiple fronts, but there was still some redeeming qualities despite no-shows like The Legend Of Zelda (Wii U). Both Fire Emblem Fates and Xenoblade Chronicles X look incredible with their latest trailers. The Digital Event focused heavily on Mario, more specifically Mario Maker, due to his 30th Anniversary.
That’s all I have for now, and I’ll post again soon!
Fire Emblem If is now changed to Fire Emblem Fates for the west. I’m unsure how I feel about the English voices (especially male Kamui), but other than that this trailer is making the long 2016 wait even more painful. It keeps looking better with every update… I need this game. Anyways, here it is:

Splatoon is Nintendo’s hippest new IP that really shows that Nintendo still has plenty of creative juices flowing. Everything is enjoyable from transforming into a squid to seeing the Miiverse community (mostly funny memes) in the plaza. I got to do the whole single-player campaign and a little of the Battle Dojo, but unfortunately not the main event. I’ll hold off from doing the review until then, but from what I’ve played, I highly recommend it to any Wii U owner.
*I apologize for taking so long to publish this. I was planning on waiting until I was able to go online to play the main “Turf War” mode or regular battles, but it wouldn’t work for me. From what I’ve heard, the servers actually do very well, it’s just that my internet connection sucks.

It’s becoming to be that time of year again… E3!
Hopefully E3 will encourage gamers to stay excited for the rest of the year and into 2016 as many are getting disappointed over delays for big games like Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and The Legend Of Zelda. Game Informer is keeping track of when things are happening in June with their schedule; Nintendo and now Microsoft have recently announced their plans.
My friends and I are looking forward to more on Persona 5, Final Fantasy XV, FE X SMT, Fallout 4, Sly 5, and so on. For 2015, my most anticipated game is probably Xenoblade Chronicles X (as you can tell from all the articles). So much hype!
Which company are you most looking forward to watching? What are your hopes for E3? Please comment below! It’s going to be fun!
When this game was first announced, the “trailer” only showed a cast of characters from both the Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem series in their original artworks and then at end there was something supernatural happening in a modern city.
Then it was awhile (three years?) before having any sort of updates, so many people believed the project was canceled. There was at least one post on GameInformer and other sites saying that “it’s on schedule” but nothing else besides that.
With the last Nintendo Direct, we finally got a real trailer confirming its existence and showing off some cutscenes and gameplay. There are many who are excited while others have concerns, like how it looks more like the Persona series than anything else. How do you feel about it? I’ll tell you some of my thoughts… Read the rest of this entry →
More on Fire Emblem If was released in yesterday’s Nintendo Direct. We now know that you (your Avatar) will be the main protagonist instead of the second star of the show. You will have to decide where your allegiance resides, Nohr or Hoshido. What makes this difficult and complicated is that you have ties with both kingdoms. Deciding between your family and your loyalty will be tough. You can see it for yourself right here: Read the rest of this entry →
Yesterday, there was a 48-minute long Nintendo Direct. There was a lot said and shown, even though it is not as much as people wanted or expected. I’ve been reading many criticisms from fans and others alike, but I thought it was mostly good for what it was. The best part of it was definitely the second trailer for Fire Emblem If, followed by the confirmation that Fire Emblem X Shin Megami Tensei is still alive (I was right to have hope!).
Most of the video was focused on, you guessed it, Amiibos. The Wave 4 of SSB characters will be released on May 29. Waves 5 (Dark Pit & Palutena) and 6 (Olimar, Dr. Mario, etc.) will be out in July and September respectively. There will also be Yarn Yoshis (yes, you’re reading this right) that will come in three colors: green, pink, and light blue.
You can find everything here. Thanks to GameInformer as always. 🙂
